My 14 top beauty picks from iherb! Number 8 is my favorite!

by | May 18, 2020 | MAKEUP, SKINCARE

If you haven’t heard of iherb, it’s an online worldwide store and app to efficiently get a wide variety of vitamins and other health store types of products. I have been shopping with iherb for years, mainly because when living in Hong Kong, it can be challenging to locate western health type items that don’t have price inflation! They also have a quick and efficient delivery service and I am a sucker for a parcel delivery with great goodies inside.

Along with my vitamins and healthy snacks, I have tried a few beauty items as well. iherb carry some excellent skin and makeup brands surprisingly. Brands like Becca Cosmetics, Pixi and Bare Minerals, here is my selection of winners!

Pixi Beauty Glow Tonic

A well known excellent gentle start to adding acid toning to your routine.

Alba Botanica Sunless Tanner

I have repurchased this countless times, a no-fuss gradual tanning moisturiser, remember always wash your hands after applying.

Real Techniques Everyday Essentials Brush Kit

Excellent quality brushes for the price, a huge variety of shapes and styles.

Weleda Skin Food

Another classic, loved by many. Warm it up in your fingers, apply to face for intense nourishment. Great for any dry patches on the body too.

Heritage Store Rosewater & Glycerin Mist

This one with the Glycerin leaves the skin with a little tack and moisture. More than just a water mist. #1 on iherb for face mist.

Harraw! Tinted Lip Balm Black Cherry

Nice lip balm with a sweet almond oil base and many other plant ingredients.

EcoTools Brushes

Fantastic all-round makeup brushes, affordable and nice quality bristles.

Andalou Naturals Glycolic Mask

Love this mask so much, has a little tingle on the skin but leaves you with bright glowing smooth textured skin, thanks to the glycolic acid and pumpkin enzymes, use once a week.

Dear, Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner

Another fantastic hydrating product, I have done a full IGTV video on it. More of an essence to me, apply on freshly cleansed skin before serums.

Jasons Sea Fresh Toothpaste

I always get toothpaste without SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate ) because it’s what stopped my perioral dermatitis and now I’m too scared to go back to full-time regular toothpaste.

Ardel Nautal Lash

Nice set of lashes, I often stock for my makeup kit.

EO Body Lotion Coconut & Vanilla

I always try to use more ‘clean’ products on the body, this one smelt lovely.

Rainbow Research French Green Clay

Clay masks should not cost a lot; this is an efficient and cost-effective way of doing them. Mix in hand, a bit of the green powder, water and apply to the face.

Andalou Naturals 1000 Roses Rosewater Mask

A nice simple hydrating mask leaving the skin so soft, with hyaluronic acid and aloe vera, it’s very calming.

Products on my try next list are:

Pixi Double Cleanse

Feel like I must try this as I love Queen Caroline Hirons so much.

CeraVe Moisturising Cream

It’s talked about a lot, so i want to see what all the hype is about.

Bare Minerals Original Foundation

I have never tried anything from Bare Minerals. and, I am intrigued by their famous foundation, I have seen other beauty creators using just a tiny bit for a full face.

Bare Minerals 16-hour Full Coverage Concealer

Looks like a nice one to try for under the eyes, they say it’s creamy, glides on and never creases.

Bare Minerals Tinted Hydration Gel Cream

I like tinted products for the simple days, or when in a rush

Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie

I am always trying to manage my curls, but most of the time, I just let them do their thing.

Now  with all these suggestions you can now see iherb has some top beauty products. I even had to edit my list down, in fear of it being too crazy long. Maybe someday I can do part two.
